After a big win over a top-five state-ranked team on Tuesday, the Mountlake Terrace High School girls basketball team kept their momentum going on Friday, easily dispensing of the winless Oak Harbor Wildcats 67-18 at Mountlake Terrace High School.
The Wildcats were never in the game as Terrace scored the first 19 points, led 51-8 at halftime, and barely broke a sweat to pick up the win.
The Hawks were led in scoring by the 22 points of Samantha Romanowski and the 20 points of Maddy Kristjanson. For Oak Harbor, 11 of the team’s 18 points were scored by Annie Leete.
Terrace returns to action on Wednesday, Jan. 15, when they hit the road to face the Marysville-Getchell Chargers. Tip-off is set for 7:15 p.m.
