It’s surprising they don’t charge fines for late materials. However I prefer that as I don’t need to worry if I am late with materials.

Yeah no fines. Less stressful than other systems that charge.
Unfortunately, Crazy Moose was forced to encrypt and hide their Wi-Fi due to limited bandwidth, so they no longer offer Wi-Fi to their customers. This is unfortunate as it was a great place for me to take care of virtual meetings.
Sorelli pizza also offers free wi-fi… the SSID is broadcast, just ask them for the WEP key and you’ll be good to go.

WiFi in the Library can also access the free library-access-only research databases (Ancestry Library Edition, for instance).
Great point. Plus you don’t feel obligated to spend any money at the library as you would at other businesses.
But still, check out a book or two (or DVD), be late a few days and pay a few cents; or just donate a buck — the libraries need money to keep going so let’s support a great resource with great programs.
