The presentation on Wednesday is the first in a year’s worth of educational programs that will focus on traffic congestion in Snohomish County, examine the factors contributing to it and look at measures that city, the county, the region and the state are currently taking to address it. The presentation on Wednesday will cover the growth in population and employment that contributes to congestion.

Inghram will be speaking at 6:15 p.m. in Public Meeting Room no. 1 on the first floor of the Snohomish County Administration Building, located at 3000 Rockefeller Avenue in Everett. The presentation is sponsored by the Snohomish County Tomorrow (SCT) Steering Committee.

SCT’s focus will be on innovative, effective ways to ease congestion, as well as what other agencies, businesses and community members can do to help address congestion.
