Ballots for the Aug. 2, 2016 primary election will be mailed July 14. Included are primary races for statewide offices, including governor, plus races for State Legislature as well as U.S. Congress.

Mountlake Terrace voters will also ask to consider whether to approve a levy lift.

Voters’ pamphlets will be mailed July 13. You can also access it online here.

You may register to vote in person at the Snohomish County Auditor’s Office, 3000 Rockefeller Ave. in Everett, until July 25.

Return your ballot through a ballot drop box or through the mail.

There are ballot drop boxes located just outside the downtown Edmonds Library on Main Street and in front of Lynnwood City Hall at 19100 44th Ave. W.

If mailing, use a stamp and make sure your ballot will be postmarked or cancelled by Election Day, Aug. 2.

Visit www.myvote.wa.gov to verify your voter registration.

Preliminary results are posted election night shortly after 8 p.m. Aug. 2.
