The Easter weekend activities begin on Friday with the third annual “Adult” Flashlight Eggstravaganza at Evergreen Playfield, 22205-56th Ave. W. The fun begins at 7:30 p.m.; tickets are $7 in advance, $10 on the day of the event.
On Saturday, kids will have the chance to enter the fray at three different hunts; all are free. The Mountlake Terrace Easter Egg Hunt will take place at 10 a.m. at Evergreen Playfield, with 7,000 Easter eggs, prizes, games and the Easter Bunny; the egg hunt will be for kids up through age 11.
Thousands of eggs stuffed with candy and prizes will be awaiting children ages 3-10 at Brier Park, 2689-228th St. S.W., on Saturday. Staggered starts for different age groups will start at 10 a.m. Hunt organizers are encouraging attendees to bring a donation of non-perishable food for the Concern for Neighbors Food Bank.
The Nile Shriners will conduct their annual egg hunt at the Nile Golf Course, 6601-244th St. S.W., on Saturday at 11 a.m. The event features hunts for three age groups of kids and an appearance by the Nile Shiners’ clowns.
