Edmonds School Board swears in MTHS student advisors

Two Mountlake Terrace High School students were among three Edmonds School District high school students sworn in as student advisers to the Edmonds School Board last week.
Board President Ann McMurray provided the oath of office to Gabrielle Atherley and Barbara Biney, both juniors at Mountlake Terrace High.
There are a total of five advisers. The other three are from Meadowdale, Scriber Lake and Edmonds-Woodway high schools. Student advisers contribute, asking questions and providing input to the topics and reports presented, but are not voting members of the School Board.
