In addition to celebrating with your neighborhood and local law enforcement officials, you can also take steps to improve the lives of local children in need during the National Night Out event in Mountlake Terrace by donating to Holly House.
Holly House will be collecting socks and underwear for local children during National Night Out on Aug. 2 at Evergreen Playfield, located at 22205 56th Avenue West, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event will also feature free food, a bouncy house, games and entertainment.
Holly House is a children’s holiday gift program providing gifts and necessities for 2,000 low-income children in the Edmonds School District, including Mountlake Terrace. The organization says one of its biggest goals is to provide some necessities for children so their parents can concentrate on finding jobs.
