The open house was supposed to give an update to the City’s current Critical Areas regulations, including those that affect wetlands, streams, fish and wildlife habitat, frequently flooded areas, geologically hazardous areas, and critical aquifer recharge areas and the associated buffer areas.
The Planning Commission will still meet on Monday, July 25 for a regular meeting at 7 p.m. at Interim City Hall, located at 6100 219th St. S.W., Ste. 220. Public hearings on the Critical Areas regulations update will be held later in August and September 2016.
