All 2014 aquatic fees at the Recreation Pavilion will remain at 2013 levels except for annual passes offered to non-residents of Mountlake Terrace. An annual pass for senior and disabled non-residents will drop from $452 to $436; for non-resident youth the annual pass will drop from $397 to $376.

The only other change for 2014 is in the youth basketball camp fee, which is rising from $5.24 to $5.50 for Mountlake Terrace residents, and from $5.76 to $6.00 for non-residents.

City staff conduct annual analysis of recreation and park fees, considering market conditions, city financial goals and policies, program demand, costs and potential impact of fee adjustments. The Mountlake Terrace Recreation and Parks Advisory Commission reviews staff proposals, then makes a recommendation to the city council concerning yearly fee adjustments.
