Two Laptop computers formerly used by staff of Congressman Rick Larsen are now in the hands of school-aged students at the Alderwood-Terrace Rotary Club Community Homework Center in Mountlake Terrace.

Larsen was at the center, located inside Terrace Park School, to present the computers to Director Pat Cordova and center volunteers on Tuesday. Larsen represents the Second Congressional District, which includes Mountlake Terrace.

The homework center, now in its ninth year, operates during the school year on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Terrace Park School, 5409-228th St. S.W. The center offers free assistance and tutoring for students, in addition to other support for parents and families. For more information about the center, or to volunteer, call 425-279-3739 or email patcordovaCHC@gmail.com.
