From David Carlos, cars galore at the annual Classic Car Show, benefiting various charities, in the TOP Food parking lot on Highway 99 Saturday.

Terry and Ruth Taylor, of Edmonds, with their pristine Pontiac GTO, which they bought brand new back in 1967. Terry bought it for the 360 horsepower, and Ruth bought it for the power brakes, power steering and automatic transmission. It has only 50,000 miles. “Terry purchased it for just under $4,000, and when I took out my wallet and asked, “How much would you take for it now?” he said 35, ” Carlos said. “To which Ruth quickly said, ‘No!’ It’s been such a part of their lives she doesn’t want to sell it. Luckily, I didn’t have $35,000 anyway.
