City of MLT’s Herman receives certified designation as a municipal clerk
Traci Herman, administrative assistant in the City of Mountlake Terrace City Manager’s Department, received her professional Certified Municipal Clerk Designation (CMC) from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks. The designation is awarded to city, county and special purpose district board clerks who meet a number of stringent educational requirements to keep up with the ever-changing technical and legal demands of the city clerk profession.
Herman has worked for the City of Mountlake Terrace since 2008. As acting city clerk, she manages the City Council’s meeting materials and records programs.
“Traci is a dedicated member of our team and we commend her for her commitment to higher learning and professional growth. The skills she has obtained through her continuing education have helped make our organization stronger,” stated City Clerk/Community Relations Director Virginia Olsen.
Herman previously worked for the cities of Woodinville and Grain Valley, Missouri.
