The Mountlake Terrace City Council honored two Eagle Scout candidates at its Monday, Sept. 19 meeting for volunteer projects they recently accomplished at Evergreen Playfield.

Dustyn Stelter of Snohomish and Regan Tedrow of Lynnwood were introduced at the meeting by Ken Courtmanch, the city’s Park Services and Property Management Superintendent; given certificates of appreciation by Dustin DeKoekkoek, chair of the city’s Recreation & Park Advisory Commission and thanked by members of the city council.

Stelter replaced a wooden retaining wall at Evergreen Playfield with a new stone wall while Tedrow assembled new metal bleachers at the lower soccer field, and laid a new concrete pad and installed a new bench near the tennis courts.
