There are going to be about a dozen food at Tour de Terrace this weekend. There will be your standard festival food: funnel cakes, roasted corn on the cob, etc. but a few local restaurants will be there as well serving serving up some delicious food. Mountlake Terrace’s newest coffee shop, Urban City Coffee, is having their official grand opening this weekend with free coffee, free BBQ, free ice cream for the kids and free music. It all starts 6 PM tonight (Friday) and lasts through closing on Sunday. There is definitely not a lack of drive-thru coffee stands in Mountlake Terrace but when it comes to finding a place to sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee, there aren’t many choices. Opening today is a new restaurant in Mountlake Terrace called Johnny Spuds & Sahara Pizza. Not sure exactly how it will work, but it is actually two restaurants under one roof. So if you feel like having fish ‘n chips and your friends wants pizza, you now have a place to go. According to their web site they will have a full bar as well.
