From Tuesday through Thursday, the race for Mountlake Terrace City Council position 3 kept getting closer. McCardle was ahead of Funk by 130 votes on Tuesday, 109 Wednesday and 85 Thursday. Friday’s count is now in and it appears as if McCardle may be pulling away. He currently has a 130 vote lead. We already reported yesterday that Kyoko Wright beat out Jasmin Contrereas to keep position #4 on the Mountlake Terrace City Council. There are updated results tonight on the other three races. It looks like the lead is great enough for Rick Ryan and Jerry Smith that those two can hold on to their positions #1 and #2 on the council.
