Mountlake Terrace Elementary School was under lockdown for 10 minutes on Friday morning, May 31, from 11:40-11:50 a.m., as Mountlake Terrace police were trying to subdue a suspicious person at a nearby foreclosed house. The subject of the police response was able to elude officers and avoid arrest. A police search in the area was unsuccessful in finding the suspect. »
