Brier Elementary teacher named Rotary Club Educator of Month
Brier Elementary fourth grade teacher Megan Hemphill was named Alderwood-Terrace Rotary Club Educator of the Month for September.
School Principal Tori Thomas expressed praise for Hemphill after the announcement. “She spends her time ensuring that all kids have an opportunity to learn in her room, all kids have a voice, and all kids learn to work together,” Thomas said. “Megan’s patience, dedication and willingness to always try something new make her stand out amongst other educators, and it is remarkable to watch, observe and be a part of her spirit within a school.”
The Alderwood-Terrace Rotary Club, founded in 1988, provides service and grants throughout south Snohomish County, and is affiliated with Rotary International.
