The event usually only happens once per year, typically in the spring, but 7-Eleven has added a second event this week to commemorate Slurpee’s 50th birthday.
While people tend to bring odd cups for Bring Your Own Cup day, such as a coffee pot, a water pitcher or a Halloween candy pumpkin, there are some rules to keep in mind.
Cups must fit upright through a 10-inch hole–so no kiddie pools. The container must be food safe–so leave your boots on your feet. The cups must not leak, and each customer can only fill one cup.
7-Eleven has one store in Mountlake Terrace, located at 21202 52nd Ave. W. There are also several 7-Eleven locations in Lynnwood. Click here for a store locator to find the one closest to you.
