Voters within the Washington State 32nd Legislative District, including residents of Mountlake Terrace west of I-5, will have an opportunity to attend a telephone town hall with district Representatives Cindy Ryu and Ruth Kagi on Wednesday, Feb. 26.
The two state representatives will be giving an update about what is occurring in Olympia during the current Washington State Legislative session, and answering questions from constituents concerning state and district issues.
Under the telephone town hall format, thousands of constituents within the 32nd Legislative District will receive automatically generated telephone calls to their homes just before 6 p.m. on Feb. 26. If a resident doesn’t receive a call and would like to participate, they are advised to call 1-877-229-8493, then enter PIN code 18646 to be included in the telephone town hall.
Once the event has started constituents can listen in on the conversation, and may ask questions of Kagi and Ryu by pressing *3 on their phone.
The current 60-day legislative session in Olympia is slated to end on March 13.
